Welcome to First Martial Arts (“Organization,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and participation in our tournaments and events.

By accessing our website or registering for an event, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Use of Website

By using this website, you agree to:

  • Use the site only for lawful purposes

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration

  • Not attempt to interfere with website functionality

  • Not use the site for fraudulent or harmful activity

We reserve the right to deny access to any user who violates these terms.

2. Tournament Registration

By registering for a First Martial Arts tournament, you agree that:

  • All information provided is accurate and truthful

  • You meet eligibility requirements for your division

  • Registration fees must be paid in full to secure participation

  • Division placement is subject to verification and adjustment

We reserve the right to modify divisions, brackets, or schedules as necessary to ensure fair competition and event efficiency.

3. Payments and Refund Policy

All registration fees are due at the time of registration unless otherwise stated.

Refund Policy:

  • Refund eligibility (if offered) must comply with the posted event refund deadline.

  • No refunds may be issued after the stated deadline.

  • Processing fees may be non-refundable.

  • In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, venue issues, etc.), refunds or credits may be issued at our discretion.

4. Assumption of Risk

Martial arts is a physical sport involving contact and inherent risks.

By registering or participating in a First Martial Arts event, you acknowledge:

  • Participation involves risk of injury

  • You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation

  • You are physically able to compete

A separate signed waiver may be required prior to participation.

5. Code of Conduct

All participants, coaches, parents, officials, and spectators are expected to:

  • Display good sportsmanship

  • Respect officials and staff

  • Refrain from abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior

First Martial Arts reserves the right to:

  • Disqualify participants

  • Remove individuals from the venue

  • Ban individuals from future events

No refund will be issued for removal due to misconduct.

6. Media Release

By attending or participating in a First Martial Arts event, you grant permission for photographs and video recordings to be used for:

  • Promotional materials

  • Social media

  • Website content

  • Advertising

If you do not wish to appear in media, you must notify us in writing at:

info@firstmartialarts.org

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including:

  • Logos

  • Event names

  • Graphics

  • Text

  • Media

is the property of First Martial Arts and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services for:

  • Payment processing

  • Registration software

  • Event management tools

We are not responsible for the policies or practices of third-party providers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, First Martial Arts shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of data or revenue

  • Injuries sustained during participation

Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless First Martial Arts, its staff, officials, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
